About Chef Simileoluwa
Simileoluwa “Simi” Adebajo built Eko Kitchen with her love of food from her home country of Nigeria. After completing her Bsc in Economics at Babcock University with first class honors in Nigeria and her Msc in International and Development Economics at the University of San Francisco, She opened her debut location in San Francisco’s SoMa district in 2018 at the age of 23 and her second location in Los Angeles’ Arts District in 2021.

By partnering with local vendors and using recipes from her mother and grandmothers’ repertoires, she’s brought a taste of Lagos to California. Simi is dedicated to serving her local communities through initiatives that feed vulnerable populations in the community. She worked closely with multiple non profits in the state of California to address food scarcity needs during the COVID pandemic. Our kitchen has valid permits to operate in the State of California and works at licensed commercial kitchens to bring you the best quality of food at your events!
